The breakfast was excellent with amazing home-cooked options, and Catherine's warm hospitality really made our stay special. I also loved the charming creaky floors and the beautiful grounds which are perfect for a relaxing stroll.
While Thrumster House has character, it does feel a bit tired and could use some updates to meet modern expectations. The electric heater didn't quite cut it on a chilly night, but the electric blanket kept us cozy enough.

Wick vibes and a lovely stay! ☕🏰
We felt like royalty in this old mansion! Big comfy room with a cool view. The brekkie was next level, enjoyed it in the fancy dining room! Plus, the resident dogs were such a sweet touch, really made us feel at home!
Only thing, the heating at night could’ve been better. it got a bit nippy!
